Sock Yarn 75% Alpaca, 25% Nylon. 100% grown and processed in Michigan. Made with the circular sock machine in mind but great for the hand knitter too! This yarn hasn’t been washed since spinning so it will bulk up nicely when washed after knitting. Brown ~ 18-19 oz. cones contain approximately 1800 yds of double ply fingering weight sock yarn. All natural color from a mix of our brown alpacas.   $85.00 per cone White ~ 11-12 oz. cones contain approximately 1100 yds of double ply fingering weight sock yarn. Hand cranked on Janet’s circular sock machine from our home grown alpaca sock yarn.  Each pair has been washed and pre shrunk for size retention.
